On December 2, 2022, the final conference of the SHOW-VET project was held as part of the Mulitplier Events promoting the Intellectual Outputs of the project. The conference was attended by learners of agricultural profiles, representatives of secondary schools from Podlasie region, representatives of institutions supporting farmers, representatives of the region’s authorities and foreign participants from Greece, Ukraine and Lithuania. The conference program presented the achievements of project work and the main result in the form of a platform for the presentation of professional qualifications. The conference was opened by Mr. Wojciech Starzyński, President of the Rodzice Szkole Foundation – the leader of the project partnership, and among the speakers were representatives of Polish partners.
After the official welcome of the conference guests, the project coordinator, Mr. Antoni Starzyński presented the summary of the project activities carried out, including reports from the International project meetings, a dissemination event in Greece and work on the intellectual outputs of the project. He also presented the goals and assumptions of the project as well as the difficulties and challenges that appeared during the project implementation. In the next part of the conference, two educational modules were held, in which issues related to the idea of the project regarding the use of modern technologies in agriculture were presented. Based on the developed materials on professional qualifications related to the processing of satellite images and their application in agriculture, the lectures showed the possibilities of using this type of competence both in agricultural practice and in processes supporting agriculture at the administrative level. These issues aroused great interest among the participants of the conference. In the next block, the final result of the project was presented, i.e. the Platform for the Presentation of Vocational Qualifications, its functionalities and practical ways to take advantage of its capabilities and resources. In the summary of the conference, a discussion was held on the presented content and the possibility of developing the platform with other professional qualifications. The participants of the conference filled in anonymous questionnaires, in which they assessed both the organizational aspects of the conference as well as the quality of the prepared conference materials, speakers and their presentations. Conference participants could take advantage of a coffee break with sweet snacks and lunch.
